Getting started
Create a Member account
Only members of NGOs may create accounts.
To create a Member account use the links available in the site or just click here. Fill out the required fields, choose your password and check your email for the confirmation link. That’s it. You may start using the SOGLOS social networking for NGOs.
Create a group
Now that you are a member you may create a group with the NGO’s name (recommended) and invite the other members to join it.
When creating the group you will see the tabs “Twitter” and other “External Blogs”. In the “Twitter” tab you may place the twitter usernames of all the members of the group. In the “External Blogs” tab you may place the RSS feed of the NGO’s blog and the RSS feed of the NGO’s Facebook. The updates shall appear in the group’s activity and also in the site wide activity.
Creating forums
The creation of a forum with the name of the NGO is recommended.
You may create other forums with general interest topics allowing the participation of all the site members.
Forums created for personal use are not allowed and shall be deleted without warning.
Register the NGO in the Directory
Choose the continent where are located the NGO’s headquarters. The country folders will be created after each registration.
Use the classifieds section
To request urgent support, ask for financial help, announce events, promote actions to raise funds …
The classifieds will remain published during 7 days. After expiration you may post it again.
